The Second KGS-CTGS Geotechnical Seminar on TC 305 “Geotechnical Infrastructure for Megacities and New Capitals” will be held in Astana, Almaty, Kazakhstan, on August, 3-6, 2018.

The First Taiwan-Kazakhstan Geotechnical Engineering Seminar was in Taipei, Taiwan, on May, 29-31, 2013.

The main goals of Workshop are increasing interactions between Kazakhstan Geotechnical Society and Chinese Taipei Geotechnical Society and identifying opportunities for future collaborations. The workshop will have a strong industry related component to highlight geotechnical and construction opportunities.

Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Kazakhstan Seminar Co-Chair (Astana), and Der-Wen Chang, professor of Tamkang University, Taiwan, Republic of China Seminar Co-Chair (Taiwan).
