The conference theme is “Recent Innovative Ground Improvement Technology for Mega Infrastructures Development: Challenges and Opportunities”. The conference focuses on an innovative method on ground improvement for problematic soils including soft soil, expansive soil, liquifiable soil and earthquake loading, but not limited to,

- Soil characteristics, Engineering geology and investigation
- Soft Soil Engineering
- Ground Improvement: Deep vibro technique, Dynamic Compaction; Deep Soil Mixing; Rigid Inclusion; Vacuum Consolidation; Preloading with surcharging, Stone Column; Geotextile etc.
- Liquefaction, Soil dynamics and geotechnical earthquake engineering
- Geotechnical reliability, risk assessment and management
- Shallow and deep foundations
- Expansive Soil etc.

The conference will be held at the Universitas Diponegoro Campus (Semarang – 50275, Central Java, Indonesia) in 5 months on July 22nd – 23rd, 2024.

The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for Engineers, Professionals, Academicians, Researchers, Construction equipment and material manufacturers, suppliers and Government Officials to integrate and disseminate information on recent developments and case histories related to innovative ground improvement for very soft soil, clay shale, soil dynamics, geotechnical challenge for earthquake prone area, liquefaction, innovations of foundation, embankment on ultra soft soil, etc.

Call for Papers:

Each Author can only submit one abstract with his/her name as the first author directly to the Organizing Committee. Prospective Authors are invited to submit a one-page abstract related to the theme of the conference by March 15th, 2024.

Proceedings:

The Conference Proceedings will be published in 3 options:
1. Conference Proceedings will be published in the Lecture Note Civil Engineering or AIP.
2. Conference Proceedings will be published in collaboration with Scopus Index Journal
for Selected Papers.
3. Conference Proceedings will be printed for those that do not meet points 1 and 2.
