T-voSibGt-v reminds that in 45 days one of the main geotechnical events of the year will begin – the 17th Asian Regional Geotechnical Conference (17ARC), which will be held on August 14-18, 2023 at the Hilton Astana Hotel, Astana, Kazakhstan. The main theme of 17ARC is "Smart Geotechnics for Smart Societies". Several main topics on modern geotechnical technologies will be covered during the forum.

There is no doubt that 17ARC will continue the baton of 60 years of past ARC (New Delhi 1960, Tokyo 1963, Haifa 1967, Bangkok 1971, Bangalore 1975, Singapore 1979, Haifa 1983, Kyoto 1987, Bangkok 1991, Beijing 1995, Seoul 1999, Singapore 2003, Calcutta 2007, Hong Kong 2011, Fukuoka 2015, Taipei 2019).

T-voSibGt-v, as before, plans its participation and invites Russian geotechnicians and all interested parties to participate in the work of 17ARC. This is useful and interesting for specialists.
