Международный геотехнический конгресс 19th ICSMGE прошел 17-22 сентября в COEX Сеуле Южной Корее. В программу конгресса было включено 947 докладов из 76 стран. Отбор докладов производился национальными геотехническими ассоциациями. Количество докладов от каждой страны лимитировалось в зависимости от размера коллективного членского взноса, перечисляемого национальной ассоциацией в фонд международного общества ISSMGE.

Scientific Program 19th ICSMGE было предусмотрено: 627 Oral и 320 Poster, в т.ч. 431 Discussion Session и 196 Workshop. Они были заслушены и обсуждались на 135 пленарных и секционных заседаний.

Больше всего докладов было представлено Japan (74), USA (59), Korea (53) и Australia (45). От России было представлено 12 докладов. Также в программу 19th ICSMGE были включены доклады: Казахстан (10), Узбекистан (4), Киргизстан (2), Украина (2), Эстония (1), Латвия (1), Таджикистан (1), Великобритания (31), Китай (30), Индия (23), Иран (23), Франция (22), Германия (16), Италия (12), Бельгия (12), Швеция (10), Польша (9), Австрия (7), Венгрия (7), Дания (6), Финляндия (5), Румыния (5), Чехия и Словакия (4), Словения (4), Хорватия (2), Греция (2), Ирак (2), Швейцария (2), Сирия (1) и др.
